Better Than Yesterday: Real Biohacking for Real People 🧬

biohacking better than yesterday

So, I’ve been following this free biohacking thing called Better Than Yesterday, and honestly? It’s one of the few health newsletters I didn’t unsubscribe from after 2 days 😅

If you’re into stuff like living longer, feeling more energetic, or just fixing your sleep and brain fog without spending $300 on supplements, this one’s for you.

No weird pitches. No “become superhuman in 7 days” nonsense.

Just simple, daily biohacks that make sense and don’t take over your life.

🧠 What’s Better Than Yesterday anyway?

It’s a free daily newsletter with science-backed biohacks and longevity tips. You’ll get short emails (sometimes with emojis, sometimes more serious) with stuff like:

  • “Drink this before coffee ☕”

  • “Why Zone 2 training burns fat better than HIIT”

  • “This brain vitamin = 20% more memory in one study”

  • “Cold showers: why they suck but work 🥶”

The tone feels like a friend who’s into wellness sharing what works—not a sales funnel. Most tips are free or very low effort. And honestly, that’s rare in biohacking.

Why I stuck with it

I’ve followed a bunch of health blogs and biohacking influencers. Most of them either:

  • Go way too deep into the science (like, “I need a PhD for this”)

  • Or just push supplements they clearly get paid to promote

Better Than Yesterday is different. It's real. You can feel whoever writes it actually lives this stuff. There are posts where they say things like:

“I tested this fasting trick and felt awful the first time. But here’s what fixed it…”

That kinda honesty hits. It’s not all “hacks that work”—sometimes it’s what didn’t work, and why.

Topics they cover 🔍

Every day’s different, which I like. These are the ones that stuck with me:

  • Daily biohacks for focus, energy, better sleep

  • Longevity tips that don’t cost a fortune

  • Mitochondria health, gut health, and circadian rhythm stuff

  • Supplements (but they always say: “food first, supplements second”)

  • Free hacks like breathing, sunlight, walking, fasting

They also break down science articles in a way that doesn’t feel too nerdy. It’s like “hey, this study showed this,” and then they give you something to try that day.

Who is it for?

Honestly? Anyone.

But especially:

  • People curious about biohacking but don’t know where to start

  • Folks in their 30s–50s who want to age better (without going broke)

  • People trying to fix their sleep, mood, or energy naturally

  • And anyone tired of all the wellness hype 🙄

If you want something like Andrew Huberman’s tips—but written in plain English and not 2 hours long—it’s perfect.

Stuff I liked 👍

✅ It’s short (1–2 min read max)
Actionable – You can try the tips right away
✅ Feels human, not corporate
✅ Doesn’t sell you anything
✅ Great for beginners or even nerds who want reminders

They also run a Telegram channel and post on Facebook, but honestly I just read the emails. \

Anything to improve?

I mean… the site design is super basic. Kinda feels like 2015. But I don’t really care 'cause the content's good.

Sometimes I wish there was a weekly roundup or a search bar. But again, it’s free. So I’m not complaining.

They don’t send ads or spam. Zero promotions. Just value.

Final thoughts 💬

Better Than Yesterday is honestly one of the few biohacking newsletters I’d recommend without thinking twice.

It’s perfect if you want:

  • Free daily biohacks

  • Longevity tips backed by science

  • Simple ways to improve health without crazy tools or prices

It’s chill, honest, and feels like something written by a real person who cares more about feeling better than building a brand.

If you're into this kind of wellness journey, just give it a try.
It might make your tomorrow just a bit better. ✨
